What file types are supported?
The validator supports pain.001 (SEPA and international credit transfers, versions pain.001.001.03 and pain.001.001.09) and pain.008 (SEPA direct debits, version pain.008.001.02), including multi-currency variants.
Does validation replace my bank's checks?
No. The validator checks technical compliance with the ISO 20022 schema and common business rules. Your bank may apply additional checks specific to its system.
Can I validate a file generated by another tool?
Yes. The validator accepts any XML file in pain.001 or pain.008 format, regardless of the tool used to produce it.
